Dear Aijaz,

In my point of view, any standard book for FSC. or BA level will do plus must read Friday feature of Dawn.

kanwal.sahil,
I would say, strictly follow one source unless you feel a desperate need to follow a second one. You have already figured out that its a waste of time. So, don't confuse your self just follow the recommended book and that's it!

Good luck

inexorable,

for islamiat in english, i referred to a couple of books selectively:

1) islam at a glance - (complete)
2) islam - it's meaning and message - (political, social, economic, judicial system + women's rights)
3) friday features of dawn - every week

kanwal.sahil,

i second the opinion of pheonix. use just one source as long as you're satisfied that you're not missing any important aspects. refer to a secondary source only when needed. if you read 10 books for islamiat, you'd still get 60 marks but lose time for preparation of remaining subjects.

khansa tarrar,

opt the medium in which you've more expertise. i don't know urdu well. neither can no write it. so i had to go for english. i'm good at writing english.

for memory problem; let me assure you we all face this issue. but only the ones who're steady and revise win the game.
