salamz,
recently FPSC announced general recruitment posts, i have applied for the post of research officer, economist group BS-17 but i don't know how to prepare for the written how would that be would FPSC announce any particular syllabus or should i follow the CSS syllabus?Huh? and when the test is likely to be conducted???

About your query: Since none of the members has been able to come up with an enlightening response as yet, I would advise you to personally contact with the FPSC; make a phone call to them in office hours. I'm sure they will cooperate.

Moreover, with my reply, your post would come to the fore once again; and it is hoped that someone of the senior members responds to it satisfactorily.
